Darkness wastes not a single moment after the sun goes down. Especially in the hills.
Where people, unlike us in the cities, do not make any effort to defy it. It is here one begins to appreciate her beauty.
With night, descends chill and silence.
A distant barking dog tells me I might not be alone.
And an occasional roadside shop like this holding out on its own against the darkness tells me, it doesn't matter, alone in the dark is also beautiful.
